În ziua de 28.06.2026, după Sfânta și Dumnezeiasca Liturghia, biserica noastră găzduiește un concert caritabil.

Our community's celebration 2026

Our community celebrated its patron, the Holy Apostle and Evangelist John, on Sunday, May 10.

In anticipation of this event, the new iconostasis was installed on Friday, May 8, the very day of the feast of Saint John. The Lemnart Mobirom company from Târgu Neamț, Romania, designed the axions, the furniture in which the icons are mounted, according to a very detailed, sober and imposing model. Using the most modern execution techniques, the result is marked by laborious and precise finishes. The high arch, from which a seraphim watches, matches perfectly with the height of the church. With great professionalism, they took care of the transportation and installation at our church.

The painting of the four icons was executed by Mrs. Claudia Dobrin, an authorized church painter from Bucharest, Romania, in authentic Byzantine technique. The lines are clear, with great attention to details such as the folds of the garments and the characters' hair. The colors are perfectly chosen to harmonize with the interior of the church, while respecting the canonical iconographic indications.

Together we helped clean up on Saturday, May 9, and arrange the church and the halls for the festivities that followed.

On Sunday, starting at 09:30, the Holy and Divine Liturgy was celebrated by His Eminence Metropolitan Seraphim, together with the parish priest Ștefan Arghir and the deacon father Dumitru Dura.

In his teaching word, on the Sunday of Samaritans, His Eminence Father Seraphim guided us to live our Orthodoxy beautifully among foreigners. He appreciated the effort of the community, which, less than 7 years after its establishment, with the will of God and funding from the Romanian State, managed to acquire its own church.
At the end of the Liturgy, the Metropolitan blessed the icons in the new iconostasis. He noted the beauty of the icons and the iconostasis.

After the Liturgy, at 12:00, children performed a moment of poetic theater interspersed with biblical verses. On the same occasion, the catechists and educators of our community presented the results of the main ongoing projects with the children.

Approximately 150 believers participated in the Liturgy, most of them dressed in traditional costumes.
On behalf of the Consulate General of Romania in Stuttgart, Ms. Consul Angelica Marcu very kindly accepted to be among us.

At 12:30, the Mayor General of the city of Sindelfingen, Mr. Markus Kleemann, addressed our community. He noted the significant number of Romanians in the city, approximately 8% of the population of the city of Sindelfingen are of Romanian origin. He positively highlighted the involvement of the Romanian community, which by taking over the church in the Viehweide neighborhood ensures the continuity of the Christian presence. He thanked the parish priest Ștefan Arghir for his continuous involvement in the events organized by the neighborhood and the city.

The festivities continued with the agape, the fraternal meal, where everyone was invited. We rented all the available rooms in the Stadtteiltreff Viehweide, so there was enough space for everyone. The food was also plentiful.

For this, we thank those who cooked. Equally, we thank those who helped clean and arrange before the events, those who helped with the meals on the day of the patron saint, those who helped us collect, the children and their parents who learned for the celebration, the catechists and educators who constantly take care of the children, our choir, those who provided us with tables and chairs, and in general all those who understand that we do not simply go to church, but we go to become the Church.

The celebration of our Patron Saint 2026

This year, our Parish honors Saint John the Evangelist on Sunday, May 10.

Please be punctual at 09:00 to welcome the hierarch.

We invite you to dress in traditional costumes.

The Agape (community meal in love) will be organized by the entire community, in the spaces we rent near the church. If you would like to contribute, you can do so by cooking some food, or by buying necessary things. A list for this purpose is available at the pangar, or you can contact us. We will need help with arranging the rooms and cleaning up afterwards.

Everyone is welcome, both at the Mass and at the agape, even if they cannot cook or buy anything. A helping hand is enough.

Through this kind of organization we prove that we have been together as a community for almost 7 years, which can manage such an event. The involvement of everyone in this event also has the role of strengthening the cohesion of our community.

Because parking spaces near the church are limited, please consider parking at Breuninger and walking to the church from there.

Cum ne folosim de biserică

După ce recent am finalizat cumpărarea bisericii din Hans Thoma Platz 1, 71069 Sindelfingen, în data de 16.11.2025 am organizat o adunare parohială specială cu tema cum ne folosim de darul lui Dumnezeu. Biserica achiziționată ne permite să ne desfășurăm mai ușor activitățile de până acum și să le extindem. În același timp, este și o povară financiară și administrativă pe care trebuie să o ducem împreună.

Imediat după terminarea Sfintei Liturghii, preotul paroh Ștefan Arghir a prezentat succint desfășurarea proiectului de cumpărare a bisericii. Prezența a fost una bună, care a permis o discuție constructivă.

Au fost stabilite trei grupuri de lucru cu temele „Activități”, „Investiții” și „Întreținere”. Cei prezenți au putut să își aleagă o temă pe care să o discute într-un grup separat.

După finalizarea discuțiilor pe grupuri, am reunit ideile împreună cu toți participanții. Un reprezentant al fiecărui grup a prezentat ideile dezbătute în interiorul grupului. Ceilalți au avut posibilitatea de a pune întrebări și de a aduce completări.

Le mulțumim tuturor celor care au participat și s-au implicat. Rezultatul obținut este unul dublu: În primul rând, au fost generate idei și au fost stabilite priorități pentru fiecare, conform cu opinia majorității. În al doilea rând, am realizat creșterea coeziunii în comunitate, arătând că suntem într-adevăr o comunitate deschisă, în care fiecare se regăsește și poate contribui după măsura darului său primit de la Dumnezeu spre bucuria tuturor.

Ideile prezentate au fost mai apoi discutate în ședința de Consiliu Parohial ce a urmat Adunării Parohiale.
